On Tuesday, representatives from the Manchester Wolves and Monarchs, along Moore Center's VP of Development, Ellen Roposa, received the Commissioner's Partnership Award at the Common Man Inn in Plymouth.
Following up on the season-opening Monarchs game (see below), we headed over to Southern New Hampshire University to take in a women's volleyball game and dine on some pizza.
Good times, with plenty of laughs before the game and plenty of spiked volleyballs to the back of head during. And who doesn't like spike volleyballs to the back of the head?
Much thanks to SNHU student Mark DeFazio and the rest of the SERVE department at the college for making this happen!

Team NH has started its second season, which kicked off with a mens soccer game at Southern New Hampshire University last month. On Saturday, October 27, Team NH headed once more to the Verizon Wireless Arena to take in a Manchester Monarchs game--and what a game it was!
The Monarchs pulled out an overtime victory against the dreaded Portland Pirates. Nearly 20 Moore Center clients and SNHU students enjoyed the game in the comfort of the university's luxury suite.
Afterwards, we all went downstairs to meet some Monarchs players who were happy to sign autographs and shake hands. A great night!

Wednesday night had Team NH rocking the Southern New Hampshire University soccer field in style. At 6pm , clients from Moore Center and SNHU students dined on pizza and soda and chatted, then, an hour later, headed over to the field to catch the SNHU vs. Franklin Pierce men's soccer game.
The weather was great and the camaraderie even better. Big thanks to SNHU for pulling it all together!

09/14: Team NH! Jet Car Edition!
This past Saturday, Team NH headed over to Epping, NH (a.k.a. "The Center of the Universe") to settle in for a night of eardrum-ravaging, high-octane racing at New England Dragway. The highlight of the night was the Jet Car exhibition, which is exactly what it sounds like: cars with jet engines attached to them.
Moore Center clients and students from Southern New Hampshire University across the board gushed about the event, proclaiming to wild races to be one of the best events held so far.

08/21: Team NH Game 5!
On Saturday, Team NH kicked it with the Nashua Pride, a regional, professional baseball club. The team squared off with the New Jersey Jackals and while they may not have pulled out the victory, the Pride played a tough game and, better yet, showed us an awesome time.
Pete, one of the Moore Center clients who attended, threw out the first pitch and the club gave us seats on the deck and showered us with complimentary hot dogs and soda! Thanks to the Nashua Pride for treating us so well.

Rain kicked off the day on Saturday, putting the game in jeopardy, but the skies cleared, giving way to a beautiful day for some baseball. Sure the skies opened up in the seventh inning and the Fisher Cats were shut-out, but we still had a great time.
