Family Support offers Saturday afternoon respite for individuals that live with their families and is free. Join us on September 4 or September 25 from 1-4 pm at our Eddy Road location.
Please RSVP to Kris Simmons at 296-5149 by noon the Friday before to ensure proper staffing. During the 3 hours, we make a craft of some kind and watch a family friendly movie. A light snack is also provided.

From Saturday's New Hampshire Union Leader:
St. Anselm College student Ashley Pratt of Manchester (right) cheers on the base runner in a game of kickball at Friday's field day outing for clients of the Moore Center, hosted by students of the college at Livingston Park. The event is the community service part of the freshman orientation program taking place this weekend. All 560 incoming freshmen are participating in the service program in groups of 20 students at 30 sites around the city.
The program is designed to enable the freshmen to get to know one another and become involved in the school's tradition of community service. More than 50 percent of the Class of 2010 had performed community service over the course of their years at St. Anselm College.

Jodie is a member of the Moore Green Team, a recycling pick-up service. Jodie and a co-worker separate cans and bottles from Moore Center, Accurate Title and the Currier Museum of Art. Next for Jodie: participation in Project Search where she will begin interning at Catholic Medical Center in September.

08/17: Special Education Workshop

ANCOR is currently working to grow our network of advocates and build a base of support for the work we're doing in Washington to raise awareness of DSPs, the value of the critical supports they provide, and to highlight the difference this workforce makes each day in lives of millions of Americans with disabilities.
One way ANCOR is growing is through Facebook. They've created a fan page as a means to better communicate with our supporters and share information on what's happening with the National Advocacy Campaign.
If you are active on Facebook, please consider "liking" the NAC page. Check it out here.
