Moore Center Services’ New Residential Options for Seniors Allow Them to Remain in Their CommunitiesThe largest and fastest growing demographic in New Hampshire is people over the age of 65. Those senior citizens are living longer and staying healthier. Studies show that, when given a choice, seniors want to remain in their communities for as long as possible, but many of them may need help with simple household chores, while others need a more complex continuum of care.Moore Center Services has added Moore Options for Seniors – residential opportunities for a good life; three new programs designed to provide solutions to the needs of senior citizens. These elder options, which are cost-effective and community-based, help create a safe and secure environment for seniors that will allow them to continue living and thriving in their own communities. About the Program Another option for seniors, Adult Family Care, provides personal care assistance to seniors who live with a host family recruited, trained and supervised by Moore Center Services. Adult Family Care allows the individual to continue living in the community in an atmosphere that is as close to being in one’s own home as possible. A third option, Kinship Care, reimburses family members for providing care to a Medicaid-eligible relative who lives with them.
